Works of the Collective
Of All Its Parts is a kaleidoscopic choreography based on the capacities of human imagination and its vivid potentials for presenting us with glimpses of the not-yet-known.
We started out by reading Michael Peterson’s book Straight White Male: Performance Art Monologues (1997), which introduced us to the history of stage monologues and its inherent privileges and conflicts.
In June 2013 we, the duo two-women-machine-show, decided to officially declare war upon ourselves. Our intention was to overthrow the governing authorship inhabiting us.
Mass Hysteria explores the mass hysterical symptoms within choreography, what is also known as ‘unison’.
In Back to Limbo Marie-Louise Stentebjerg and Ida-Elisabeth Larsen take their point of departure in a man’s written dislikes of women.
